'spring oak', 2003, 750x540mm, oil on canvas, $700. this was inspired by the incredible vigour of our 100 year old oak tree doing it's yearly burst out. As always I love to play with the patterns I see, especially in natural phenomena.

gouache abstract, glass, 03

'glass dimension', 2003, 600x390mm, gouache on board. This is a segment of the painting - the rest is more of the same. Inspired by the sun shining through a cut glass window in my old home. A friend with a window of the same type instantly recognised ti and bought the painting.

'English lady', 1988. This watercolour was painted at least 14 years ago when I was living in England. I gave it as a gift to a friend and it now lives in Holland.

Because this blog is designed to give access to my art work and process, to people who are interested, I think I need to post a sampling of my work to date since I have been exhibiting. It's a bit of a process but it will mean these photos will be available in the archives and I will simply post work in progress in the future.
